Introductions
Hi, my name is Tayci Wallace. I am a Junior attending the University of Texas A&M at Commerce who is majoring in Studio Art with a focus on an all-level certification in Teaching. I plan to teach art or history, or both, once I graduate. Additionally, I want to continue my education and will work to obtain a Master’s in Education. My hobbies include playing the cello, drawing, watching YouTube videos, and reading. The skills and attributes that make an outstanding teacher are patience, determination, and the willingness to try new techniques and tools to improve the student's learning experience. The technology I am interested in incorporating into my future classroom includes different learning and studying aids such as Kahoot, Quizlet, Quizizz, and Prezi presentations because they are interactive and fun for the students. Using Google Classroom, Google Docs and Google Slides will also be utilized as a technology-based format that will allow students to collaborate with one another as well as with me. Incorporating these technologies in my curriculum along with other classroom activities will assist me in providing an enriched and engaging learning environment.
